Souvla is one of the best hidden gems in San Francisco. Their spit-fired meats in both salad and sandwich forms bring so much flavor and life to their dishes. Dessert always gets me, and Souvla does not disappoint. The Greek frozen yogurt is delicious, especially when topped with baklava. I’ve also tried the yogurt with the honey and sea salt, but for my taste, it was way too salty. I prefer baklava instead. They almost always have a line, so you know the restaurant is good. Souvla’s location on Divisadero has a huge outdoor patio for those rare sunny San Francisco days.
